The Mahabharata Samshodhana Pratishthanam (MSP, Mahabharata Research Foundation) is a non profit Indic Research organization based in Bangalore. Started in 1997, it has been established to conduct focussed research in select areas of Indic knowledge systems. The aim, mainly is to contextualize India's ancient wisdom and knowledge and use it to improve quality of life of people across the world. The Pratishthanam closely works with the National Mission for Manuscripts (NAMAMI), Ministry of Culture Govt. of India for preservation and digitization of Manuscripts of India. Pratishthanam is recognized by the Govt. of India under Ministry of Culture as the National Digitization Partner and Karnataka Regional Manuscripts Resource Center.

Founded by a group of techies working in various MNCs, MSP is also involved in research and development of new tools and technologies and distribute them as freeware as needed by scholars of Indic systems.

It is currently guided and lead by eminent people from a large spectrum ranging from scholars of Indian literature, ancient Indian knowledge systems to vastly experienced technologists.
